SOMATIC LEARNING

PANTAREI APPROACH

Our body holds knowledge that we can access when we become attentive to it. The mind on its’ own has a tendency to get scared or confused easily, but when it is in communication with the rest of our being it is much more useful to us.

During a Pantarei Session we pay a lot of attention to the body and its physical sensations. We explore the relationship between body and mind, and we get to know better how our body communicates with us, so our mind and body can become friends and start to learn from each other.

As our knowledge deepens, we notice clearly how we respond to what is going on around us. What triggers us into a state of fear, for example? What do we do to cope? How able are we to truly receive praise? The answers to questions like these, and many more, can be found in actual physical sensations. As we become more aware of these sensations, we also become aware of our own impact in the world. We are then able to find clarity and insight into how we would like to act as human beings and how we would like to respond to our environment. This allows for meaningful change to be established.

'My belief is in the blood and flesh as being wiser than the intellect. The body-unconscious is where life bubbles up in us. It is how we know that we are alive, alive to the depths of our souls and in touch somewhere with the vivid reaches of the cosmos.'

- D. H. Lawrence

PERSONAL SESSIONS

Just as with talking therapy I work together with clients over a number of sessions with the overall aim to deepen our knowledge and awareness of ourselves and how we interact with the world around us.

As with most kinds of learning a number of sessions is needed to establish new awareness that can generate change. The Pantarei approach calls this a process. The length of the process depends on what the client wishes to explore and learn.

A typical session includes touch as a form of communication. The intention with the touch is to connect the client to their whole experience and their whole being. Verbal communication accompanies the touch throughout a session, and I work strictly within your needs and boundaries. You are encouraged to wear what is comfortable for you.

'a person is a fluid process, not a fixed and static entity; a flowing river of change, not a block of solid material; a continually changing constellation of potentialities, not a fixed quantity of traits'.

- Carl Rogers

PRICES

I charge 70-90€ per session. You are encouraged to pay what is fitting to your budget.

The 1st session is 90min long. Following sessions vary from 75-90min depending on what we are working with on that day.

I would like for everyone who would benefit from seeing me to be able to do so. Therefore, I offer a weekly slot on 'pay what you can' basis. Let me know if this applies to you as you are booking your 1st session.

ABOUT ME

I have a background in the creative arts, spending most of my twenties and thirties living and working in London as a Fashion Designer.

For much of that time I experienced myself as profoundly lost. This challenged me to explore new ways of being, beyond the path I had set up for myself as a twenty-year-old.

I found friends within Buddhism, with meditation proving to be a useful tool for me to move beyond my own blockages. I also begun a Psychotherapy Study at the Psychotherapy Trust in London and finished a Foundation in Psychosynthesis in May 2017. I have personally benefited from Psychotherapy as a healing modality for my own development for over 10 years.

In September 2017 I gave birth to my first child. Soon after the birth my partner and I moved to Berlin, where I discovered the Pantarei Approach and instantly felt deeply connected. I started the Pantarei Approach Training in 2019 and graduated in December 2021.

As a Pantarei practitioner I am connecting with my authentic self again and again - the me I am, behind all the me’s I think I should be. I learn to put trust in my own being, my intuition and my voice. I also learn what it means to deeply connect with others and how rich life is when we dare to meet each other beyond judgment and fear.

I would love for you to join me on this journey!

'Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right doing

there is a field. I'll meet you there

When the soul lies down to rest in that grass,

the world is too full to talk about'.
